The new Thirroul Regional Playground for Wollongong City Council features stellar play opportunities from the Kompan and Corocord Range. Ride the Single Cableway or the Dino Swing with Tyre. Climb to the very top of the Corocord Explorer Dome and see if you can see Thirroul Beach below. Explore the timber elements, and discover the buried elephant reminiscent of the animal, which became stuck in Thirroul Lagoon in the 1920s.

The children at the local primary school assisted during the design process with Council, which is designed for children above the age of 5.

As well as installing the play equipment, Play by Design also supplied and installed the shade.
