GOOGONG DISPLAY VILLAGE “GUMNUTS”

Play by Design worked closely with Kompan Design Studio (KDS) to produce an iconic structure that provides great play value whilst being sympathetic to the surrounding natural environment. The gum nut design was specifically chosen to complement the local gum trees which feature brightly coloured gum blossoms. The plan to replicate these gum blossoms has resulted in not only a fantastic playground but has introduced a beautiful sculptural element for the new community of Googong. Play by Design has also installed a Robinia timber swing as a part of the play space providing further play value to the new playground.
